Course Overview

Sports and recreation organisations have a duty of care to ensure all children and young people participating in activities are safe and have a positive experience. This includes all those who come into contact with children, such as coaches, managers, officials and volunteers.

During this course, you will learn about child abuse and neglect, how to protect children from harm, professional conduct, and how to identify, monitor, and respond appropriately to child safety concerns.
